The default configuration for TextPad has the problem that it launches a new instance of TextPad for every occurrence you double-click on. This can be annoying, especially when all the occurrences are on the same file and you want to modify the text at those occurrences. If you are not careful enough in saving and closing TextPad between two "double-clicks" in FileLocator pro you end up in having N editors open on the same file, each copy containing a different version.
This configuration uses a DDE helper program (provided along with the standard TextPad intallation) that solves this problem:
if there already is a TextPad window open on the file it simply activates that instance and makes it scroll the editor (and cursor position) to the occurrence found.
