You are entitled to all new major releases of FileLocator Pro for one year following the date of purchase. Minor version upgrades (commonly referred to as 'point releases', e.g. .1 .2 ) are free.
If you want to use new major releases of FileLocator Pro released after the year of free upgrades you can, at any time, upgrade your license at a 30% discount which entitles you to another year of upgrades starting from the date of the upgrade purchase.
For Example:
- If you purchased FileLocator Pro 5.0 on the 24th June 2009 you would be entitled to ALL new releases of FileLocator Pro until 24th June 2010.
- So if FileLocator Pro 6.0 was released on the 20th June 2010 you would be eligible for that and for all minor upgrades to the 6.0 version, e.g. 6.1, 6.5 etc.
- If FileLocator Pro 7.0 was released on the 1 Sep 2011 you would need to purchase an upgrade to use that.
- If you purchased the upgrade 10 Dec 2011 you would be entitled to all major releases of FileLocator Pro until 10 Dec 2012.
IMPORTANT: Upgrades are optional, if you don't wish to upgrade you can still use the old software for as long as you like.
